We are looking for a dependable and motivated Robotic Operator to join our manufacturing team in Delta, BC.

Position Overview

The Robotic Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring robotic manufacturing equipment used in our production process. The position will also involve hands-on metal finishing work, including sanding and grinding aluminum components.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced and comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.

Previous robotics experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor robotic equipment and automated production systems.
• Load and unload materials and components into robotic equipment.
• Monitor production cycles to ensure consistent operation and product quality.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform manual metal finishing work, including sanding, grinding, and deburring aluminum components.
• Prepare aluminum parts for final finishing, ensuring smooth surfaces and consistent appearance.
• Inspect finished components for surface imperfections and ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow established work instructions and safety procedures.
• Communicate equipment issues and production concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with general manufacturing duties as required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with hand tools and power tools is required.
• Must be comfortable performing hands-on work using grinders, sanders, and other metal-finishing equipment.
• Previous experience operating robotic equipment or automated machinery is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
