Great sales organizations work the same way.

Every customer question is captured. Every opportunity has a next step. Every commitment reaches the right person—and gets completed.

If you are energized by creating that kind of order, momentum, and trust, EcoSafe Zero Waste wants to meet you.

The opportunity

EcoSafe is rapidly growing toward a CAD $25 million future. As our Inside Sales Coordinator, you will help build the commercial discipline required to get there—responding quickly, maintaining trustworthy customer and opportunity data, advancing appropriate inside-sales opportunities, and keeping Canadian and U.S. sales activity moving.

This is not a passive administrative role. You will be the operating bridge between customer interest and excellent execution.

Position at a glance

  • Reports to: Director Sales – USA
  • Team support: Approximately 60% USA / 40% Canada
  • Location: EcoSafe’s Surrey head office
  • Work arrangement: 100% on-site; this is not a hybrid or work-from-home position
  • Compensation: CAD $62,000–$76,000 annually
  • Additional compensation: The successful candidate may be eligible for incentive compensation negotiated at the time of contracting
  • People leadership: No direct reports

What you will own

  • Qualify, document, and route inbound leads and assigned customer inquiries.
  • Advance approved smaller inside-sales opportunities through follow-up, quotation, next-step commitment, and close or documented loss.
  • Interpret routine RFQs and customer requirements, identify missing information, and secure the right internal approvals.
  • Maintain accurate customer, activity, quotation, stage, value, close-date, and next-action data in Odoo.
  • Prepare quotations, product information, sample documentation, reports, and customer-facing materials.
  • Coordinate clean handoffs across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Accounting, and Administration.
  • Support campaigns and trade shows through preparation, lead capture, assignment, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Identify recurring friction, data issues, and process gaps—and help implement practical improvements.

What excellent performance looks like

  • Customers and colleagues trust your word, your records, and your follow-through.
  • Every active opportunity has a clear owner, status, next action, and date.
  • Quotes and customer materials are accurate, complete, and delivered when promised.
  • You respectfully persist, surface stalled work, and raise risks before commitments are missed.
  • You balance urgency with precision and commercial energy with sound judgement.
  • You quickly learn EcoSafe’s products, applications, sustainability claims, customers, and systems.

You will thrive here if you are

  • Trustworthy and accountable—even when a mistake or deadline risk must be disclosed.
  • Highly detail-oriented without allowing perfectionism to stop progress.
  • Commercially assertive and comfortable asking direct questions, following up, and securing the next step.
  • Growth-minded, coachable, curious, and motivated to improve results and methods.
  • Consistent under pressure and dependable across competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative and able to influence action without formal authority.
  • Objective and analytical while retaining strong customer judgement.

What you bring

  • One to three years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, customer fulfilment, account support, business development, or a comparable B2B commercial role.
  • Evidence of strong performance—improved response time, quotation throughput, conversion, order accuracy, retention, data quality, campaigns, or process reliability.
  • Hands-on CRM or ERP experience supporting customer records, opportunities, follow-up, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including tables, filtering, formulas, data validation, pivot tables, and error checking.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive English communication.
  • The ability to interpret RFQs, product information, pricing inputs, delivery information, and business correspondence accurately.
  • Sound judgement about when to act, clarify, or escalate.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.

What will help you stand out

  • Experience supporting Canadian and U.S. customers or sales teams.
  • Experience with Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or another integrated CRM/ERP.
  • Exposure to packaging, compostable products, organics collection, waste hauling, foodservice distribution, manufacturing, logistics, sustainability, or institutional procurement.
  • Experience with RFQs, quotations, pricing approvals, samples, onboarding, campaigns, launches, e-commerce, or trade shows.
  • Relevant business, marketing, commerce, supply-chain, operations, sustainability, environmental, CRM, Excel, selling, or process-improvement education.

What EcoSafe offers

  • Competitive base salary of CAD $62,000–$76,000.
  • Potential eligibility for incentive compensation negotiated at contracting.
  • Extended health, dental, vision, paid sick days, paid personal days, and vacation, subject to applicable plans, policies, eligibility rules, and the employment agreement.
  • Visible impact in a growing North American company with a meaningful sustainability mission.
  • Direct exposure to Canadian and U.S. commercial activity and cross-functional business operations.
  • Room to build technical, commercial, systems, analytics, and process-improvement capability.
