Western Canada Power Sector Lead

SLR Consulting seeks a Western Power Sector Lead to expand its influence across Western Canada. Engage in strategic leadership, technical expertise, and client relationship management to bolster SLR's power sector business. This full-time role focuses on business growth and technical leadership within the energy sector.

As a senior figure, you will collaborate with the Canadian Power Sector Lead, executing growth strategies while maintaining a balance between project delivery and business development. You will support utilities, renewable energy developers, and transmission companies as they transition to lower-carbon solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Drive growth of power sector business across Western Canada • Develop and execute sector growth strategies • Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders • Lead regulatory strategy for energy projects • Mentor and develop project management staff Requirements: • Degree in environmental science or engineering • 15+ years in environmental assessment and permitting • Established industry reputation with regulatory engagement • Strong technical writing and communication skills • Experience in environmental consulting with leadership roles Help shape SLR's power sector vision as you leverage your extensive expertise and leadership in this growing field.
