Experienced Pipefitter Position in BC

Join Woodfibre LNG as an Experienced Pipefitter in Squamish, BC, and be part of a dedicated team operating a state-of-the-art LNG facility. Your skills in piping system installation and maintenance will make a significant impact. In this integral role, you will report to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor and be involved in the construction of the Woodfibre LNG Project.

Applicants should possess a British Columbia Journeyman Pipefitter Certification and have 5-7 years of oil and gas industry experience, particularly with LNG. Strong attention to safety standards and ability to work under pressure are essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance procedures and conduct plant walkdowns
• Measure and calculate pipe lengths with precision
• Work closely with welders for installations
• Lay out, assemble, and repair piping systems
• Maintain documentation and complete daily reports Requirements:
• Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal required
• 5-7 years experience in LNG or refining
• Experience with rigging techniques for heavy materials
• Ability to resolve piping system leaks
