Role Description The Retail Keyholder is a part-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for supporting daily store operations and delivering an exceptional in-store experience. This role includes opening and closing the store, securing the premises, and handling cash and point-of-sale procedures in line with company policies. The Keyholder assists customers with product selection, demonstrates features and benefits, and promotes Le Creuset’s brand values through knowledgeable, friendly service. Day-to-day tasks include driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, replenishing stock, and ensuring the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming. The Keyholder also supports training of team members, participates in promotions and events, and collaborates with the Store Manager and colleagues to meet sales and customer experience goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on engaging, respectful, and solution-oriented interactions.
- Solid Retail Sales abilities, including understanding of sales processes, add-on selling, and working toward individual and store targets.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and leadership in a clear, professional manner.
- Demonstrated Product Knowledge or willingness to learn about premium cookware and kitchenware to provide accurate, helpful guidance.
- Previous retail or hospitality experience, preferably in premium or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise safely, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliability, integrity, and comfort with holding keys, managing store opening/closing procedures, and handling cash responsibly.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and comfort learning new store technologies.
