
Fraser Health is seeking a full-time Licensing Officer in the Tri-Cities, BC, to oversee regulatory compliance in residential care facilities. This critical role focuses on ensuring health and safety for vulnerable populations. You will conduct inspections, evaluate care standards, and work collaboratively with facility staff to maintain compliance with legislation. With at least three years of relevant experience, you will also be responsible for community outreach and education related to licensing regulations, ultimately enhancing care quality across facilities. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate compliance with licensing regulations • Plan and carry out inspections of care facilities • Investigate reports of non-compliance efficiently • Process and assess applications for licenses • Develop community education resources on licensing Requirements: • Diploma in Psychology, Social Services, or similar • Minimum of three years experience with vulnerable populations • Valid BC Driver's License required • Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks • Strong analytical and communication abilities Leverage your skills in care compliance to support Fraser Health's mission in the Tri-Cities.
