About The Position
Naramata Childcare Society is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and dependable School-Age Care Worker to join our Kids Club team.
Our after-school program is located within Naramata Elementary School, in the beautiful community of Naramata. With school grounds, playing fields, a playground and nature right outside our doors, this is a wonderful position for someone who loves being active, spending time outdoors and working with school-age children.
Kids Club provides care for children from Kindergarten through Grade 5. This position may work with children throughout this age range but will predominantly work with our older children, approximately Grades 2–5.
We’re looking for someone with lots of energy and enthusiasm who genuinely enjoys engaging with children. Someone who enjoys getting outside, organizing activities, coaching or refereeing a game, encouraging children to participate, exploring nature and helping create an after-school program that children are excited to attend.
You don’t need years of childcare experience. We are happy to train the right person. What matters most to us is finding someone who is responsible, positive, energetic and, above all, reliable and consistent.
