Sacred Heart Catholic School Principal
Shape the future of students as the Elementary School Principal at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Williams Lake, BC. This role promotes Catholic values while ensuring a thriving educational community. Commencing August 1, 2026, this 1.0 FTE position may evolve into a permanent role based on your performance. The Principal will lead staff, manage programs, and create a safe, inclusive environment for around 110 students. Collaborate with the Superintendent and Administrative team to uphold the mission and vision of the school community. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the school fostering a strong Catholic identity • Ensure a safe and thriving educational atmosphere • Oversee instructional excellence and staff management • Encourage innovative teaching practices and methods • Direct leadership in extracurricular activities Requirements: • Membership in a Catholic parish is essential • 5+ years of elementary-level teaching experience • Strong understanding of education policies in BC • Valid TRB certification • Commitment to professional learning and development Make a meaningful impact in Catholic education at Sacred Heart School.
