As the Proposals Specialist (PS), you’ll join an energized global proposals team, collaborating with colleagues across continents to deliver standout submissions. You’ll play a key role in supporting regional leaders by transforming complex technical documents into clear, compliant and compelling proposals that showcase Ausenco’s commitment to ingenious solutions and outstanding client outcomes.

You’ll balance strategic influence with the operational discipline needed to keep multiple pursuits moving forward, often under tight timelines and changing priorities. About The Role

Reporting to the Proposals Manager & Lead (NoAM), you will provide leadership, coordination and proposal writing expertise across the full pursuit lifecycle.

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of proposal development, from analyzing client requirements and developing response strategies to facilitating kick-off meetings and managing review processes.
• Partner closely with business development and operations teams to develop win plans, define compelling value propositions, and draft executive summaries aligned with pursuit strategies.
• Work with technical teams to define response requirements, solution themes and achievable proposal schedules.
• Gather company intelligence, conduct internal and external research, and provide market insights to strengthen pursuit strategies and submissions.
• Challenge thinking, identify gaps, and proactively solve issues that could impact proposal quality, compliance or delivery.
• Lead the end-to-end development of clear, compliant, competitive and compelling proposals, pre-qualifications, EOIs and other pursuit related submissions.
• Collaborate across business lines, functional teams and geographic regions to deliver winning submissions.
• Proofread and edit technical and non-technical content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency and impact.
• Prepare high-quality written and graphical content for pursuits and client-facing materials.
• Build and maintain sales collateral including project descriptions, capability statements, case studies and other business development assets.
• Maintain and enhance proposal knowledge databases ensuring content remains structured, accurate, current and easily accessible for local and global teams.
• Participate in proposal debriefs and capturing lessons learned, to continuously improve future pursuit performance.
• Support the team wherever required, demonstrating flexibility and a solutions focuses approach to meeting business needs.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience leading proposals within engineering, consulting or technical services environments.
• Precision, detail and process discipline: exceptional writing, editing and MS Office skills, with a strong focus on quality, data integrity, formatting and administrative accuracy.

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000

Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
