We are a Vancouver Island based General Contractor focusing on mid size I.C.I. sector projects.
We are currently looking for a talented Construction Superintendent to be part of our project
management team.
The ideal candidate manages all field construction on a small to large project, or may direct an area of a major project. This person manages the field aspects of a project budget and schedule.
Major responsibilities include:
* Manages and provides leadership for safety and environmental programs.
* Monitors job costing, quality reporting, forecasting and productivity.
* Organizes and coordinates all subcontractor activities.
* Supervises and mentors field personnel.
* Implements and monitors the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics.
* Completes field administration: timesheets, quantity reports, purchases and the job diaries.
* Coordinates all manpower, materials and equipment.

Skills Required:
|
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook);
• Experience in Estimating;
• Professional written and oral communication skills.
The qualified candidates must possess a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket or a post secondary certificate or degree in the Engineering or Architectural field.
Industrial First Aid would be an asset |
