Nanny Wanted - French Speaking Family (From Quebec) Living In North Looking For A French Speaking Li
Hi/Bonjour future Au Pair!
As we are a French-speaking family, it is critical for us to hire someone who speaks French. French doesnt need to be your native language but you need to be able to carry a conversation in French and have a desire to practice your French with our family :)
*** Please note that we are restricting our search to find a French-speaking Au-pair living either in Canada, or in a country eligible for a 2018 Canadian work-holiday visa ***
Our adorable little boys are Maxim and Olivier. Maxim is 6 years old. He is in grade 1 in a French school near our house. He is an absolute social, funny and witty little boy. Olivier is the sweetest little three-year boy you will ever meet. I promise he will make your heart melt every day :)
As our nanny, you will be in charge of driving our kids to and from school every day. Since Olivier is in part-time preschool, you will be taking care of him after preschool hours starting at lunch time and you will be greeting our little Maxim at the end of his school day (around 3:30pm).
You will be working 4 days per week and are going to be responsible to get the boys ready for school every morning and pick them up from their school every day (working approximately 9 hours per day). We live in a beautiful newly built 3 level house where you will have a private bedroom, private bathroom and access to your own living room at night. In addition to taking care of our boys, you will help us with keeping the house organized and with basic meal preparation for weeknights. We need you to be in Vancouver by August which is when our current Au Pair will be returning to France. We are focusing our search on either Canadians or other French-speaking Au Pairs who can easily get a Working-holiday visa (note that France is not issuing any further visas for 2018).
You must be fun, caring, easy-going, independent, responsible and creative. You must also have prior childcare experience and you need to have a valid driving license as you will be required to drive the kids to school and their activities. Absolutely no smoking and references will be required.
We've had three previous au-pairs who have adored their stay with us and would be happy to provide references on our family.
