Key Account Manager

The incumbent plans, organizes and executes sales activities with regional clients and / or national in order to maximize volumes and profits of the company and customers. The latter is responsible for the development of each of the accounts and ensures to establish a business relationship for mutual partnership based on marketing objectives and sales as well as the orientation of Agropur and its customer. More specifically, the Key Account Manager:
 
  • Develop a customer’s business plan, by category and readjust the sales forecasts in consequences;
  • Negotiate commercial agreements / merchandising programs based on targeted objectives;
  • Develop and present business reviews to the customers on a regular basis;
  • Identify and analyze the opportunities / threats by customer and quantify the impacts in terms of volumes and profitability for the client and Agropur;
  • Ensure follow ups and communications relative to a good business processes and management both internally and externally;
  • Develop good relationships with key business stakeholders of different hierarchical levels among customers;
  • Will work closely with the Business Development Manager;
  • Additional tasks as required.
 
Requirements
 
  • A university degree in business administration or the equivalent;
  • Three to Five years of experience with major retail sales or category management or any related field;
  • Experience with account management would be an asset;
  • Strong analytical skills with a knowledge and understanding of the Nielsen data (Market Track Classic and Gold and Workstation Plus Software);
  • Exceptional presentation communications and skills;
  • Bilingual (French & English) would be an asset;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes;
  • Knowledge of Powerplay, Velo and Discoverer would be considered an asset.
