Early Childhood Educator Wanted - Seeking Inclusion Support Staff For Angus And New Lowell
We are seeking Inclusion Support Staff for our Before and After School Programs located in Angus and New Lowell.
Hours per week: 15
Responsibilities and Duties
To create a professional and positive image for the Agency on a daily basis.
To have a working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act and be in compliance with the Policies and Procedures of the Agency.
To plan and implement an age appropriate program meeting the requirements of ?How Does Learning Happen? and the 4 foundations.
To work as a member of a team which includes other staff, parents, community and the Agency.
To share in the care and housekeeping tasks of the Centre.
To grow and improve in the knowledge and skills required for the job.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with children JK to 12 years of age
Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certificate
Recent Vulnerable Sector Check
Familiar with How Does Learning Happen would be an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong knowledge of child development
Up to date immunizations.
Comfortable interacting with and supporting families and community members
Strong programming and communication skills
Must be able to work split shifts
